Privacy Policy

Data we collect

S-Class Portal collects the following data from registered users:

  • Full name and NIM
  • BINUS email address
  • Phone number (WhatsApp)
  • Profile photo
  • Study program and semester
  • Registration data: achievements, CV, cover letter, commitment form
  • Training attendance
  • Contribution reports and supporting evidence
  • LinkedIn and Instagram links (optional)

Public vs internal data

  • Your phone number is never shown publicly. Only the Head of Program, Pengurus, facilitators, and the PIC of your own club can see it.
  • Your profile photo and bio appear publicly only if you turn on show_public_profile.
  • Your LinkedIn link follows the same show_public_profile setting.
  • Instagram needs its own consent (instagram_consent) and is not shown just because show_public_profile is on.
  • Your NIM and email are never shown on public pages.

Controlling what's visible

Students can manage the visibility of their personal data from the Profile page in the dashboard:

  • Show Public Profile: controls whether your photo, bio, and LinkedIn appear on your public microsite.
  • Instagram Consent: a separate permission for showing your Instagram link.
  • You can also opt out of having a public microsite entirely.

Data security

All uploaded files (CV, cover letter, commitment form, contribution evidence) are stored with restricted access. Only authorized users, meaning the file owner and the relevant approvers, can open them. The system uses Row Level Security (RLS) so each user can only access the data they're entitled to.
